I must admit, I'm not really a "cat" person.  I've been more of a take them or leave them cat person....until I got acquainted with the Savannah cats!  Their exotic appearance and their puppy dog dispositions won me over.  I also liked that they are larger than the average cat, but it's the teardrop eyes and the spots that attracted me to the breed.  It took me over seven years to finally acquire my first pair of savannah cats.  In the years that I spent pining for my cats, I found that I more truly appreciated the hybridization of the Serval to the Egyptian Mau Mau the most.  I just felt that the body types and fur complimented each other.
